Honey Roasted Parsnips with Dates and Tzatziki
If you’re looking to add more vegetables and variety into your meals, then you’ll love this delicious and unique honey-roasted parsnips recipe. By dressing the parsnips with lots of beautiful spices and roasting them on high, you’ll create a rich, sweet flavor. The tzatziki brings a cooling, creamy lightness (sounds like nonsense but it’s true) to the dish and the hazelnuts add a lovely nutty crunch. It’s a crowd pleaser that will change how you think about root vegetables.
Slow-Cooked Brisket
Brisket is a staple dish for many Jewish celebrations, including Hanukkah. Since it’s a tougher cut of meat, the best brisket is always cooked low and slow. Eden’s recipe calls for braising the brisket in a flavorful beef stock with vegetables and white wine.
Semolina, Olive Oil, and Honey Cake with Cherries
This simple and elegant Semolina, Olive Oil, and Honey Cake is so easy to make it almost feels like you missed a step in the process. The glaze at the end keeps the cake incredibly moist. Serve with seasonal fruit like winter citrus.
